The Math Club will have it's first event on Thursday, August 30 at 3:10 PM on the 2nd floor of the Energy Innovation Center, Room 207 (see map below, upper left corner with door on E. Lewis).
Please join us on a tour of the (new) Shell 3D Visualization research lab. The lab combines high resolution projections and 3D computer graphics to create virtual environments using spatially related data. One application includes the ability of researchers using the lab to model oil, gas and water interactions in the subsurface.
We typically meet on alternate Fridays at 3:10 PM in Ross Hall, Room 247, and once a month, on Wednesday at 7 PM for a math-related movie. Watch for email announcements of events. Suggest a movie you might want to others to see.
